Fight

Fossil Battles: Enlist your vivosaurs to wage battles against rival Fossil Fighters, and compete with up to three vivosaurs at once. Learning how to make good use of each vivosaurs' varied skills is the key to victory!

Battle Basics
In a Fossil Battle, issue orders to your team of vivosaurs on the battlefield, and watch as they perform an array of techniques. If you can topple all of your opponent's vivosaurs, you win the battle.
Battle Basics

BattleField
The battlefield has three zones: AZ (Attack Zone), SZ (Support Zone), and EZ (Escape Zone). Understand the characteristics of each zone to enhance your battle strategy.
AZ Attack ZONE
Do major damage to the opponent's AZ and SZ from here. Watch out, because you sustain greater damage from the opponent in this zone as well.
SZ Support ZONE
Attack your opponent's AZ from here, with a slightly lesser effect. You can also use support techniques on fellow vivosaurs from this zone.
EZ Escape ZONE
You can avoid opponent attacks here, but you cannot attack either. Once you move here, you cannot return to the AZ or SZ for two turns.

Battle Skills
Each type of vivosaur has a distinct set of techniques at your disposal. Familiarize yourself with effects of each technique to become a master Fossil Fighter!
Battle Skills

Fossil Power
FA (Fossil Points) are used to perform techniques with your team of vivosaurs. The more powerful your attack, the more your FP will be depleted.

Spare your FP to attack with more than one vivosaur each turn, and devise strategies involving your entire team.
